The forlorn one

Oh my handsome aga,
My charming little prince,
My most precious jewel!
What have I done to you?

I watch every single day;
As your glimmering skin grows pale and dull,
…. Your chubby build grows thinner,
…. Your strong and active body weak,
…. Your smiling face grows sadder,
And the crying increases.

When you first came in to my life,
I was the happiest and proudest.
I thanked God for giving you to me.
I thanked him for the gorgeous curve of your face,
And the shiny, black curly hair.

Everywhere we went people admired,
I was proud because you’re mine and no one else’s
You just don’t know my love for you.
Its measurement is beyond compare.
I will take good care of you always!

Please forgive mummy for what she did
She didn’t expect it to be this way
