You gave me a life of hope
And helped me to cope
When things pulled me down
You taught me to care
And helped me to share
From you I learned to love
You made me to be honest
With kindness at its best
It was through you I learned my qualities
You are the source of my reason
That’s filled my being each season
When I hear the word love, I think of you
Oh mom you are my link to this world
I love you because you are so
Pleasing, lovely and kind to me
