Poor service delivery,
A thing of the past says the member
Constant power blackouts in Port Moresby and Lae
A thing of the past says, says government minister
Unemployment decreasing, employment opportunity increasing
Yet I met my college friends walking the streets
More villagers coming to live in town
In hope for better health and education opportunities
A thing of the past is still a worry on my desk
I read it; I heard it, Vision 2050 has the answer
My worries today will be a thing of the past
In my dreams, I am already a million a year
But I woke up with my tapa cloth old and worn
It was the same dream of the past
