MSP leader challenges PNG to aspire to do mission work overseas
Thomas Alva Edison: the boy with the addled mind

I once had a home

FLORENCE CASTRO-SALLE

I once had a home;
A mother’s unconditional love
A fathers never ending doting
Sibling rivalry and sibling bond
That I once had

I once had a home;
Where I went to bed with a full stomach
Where education was a priority
Where faith and prayer was easy as breathing
Yes I had that

I once had a home
That showered me with love
Protected me from the worst
That made me feel safe
Indeed I once had that

I once had a home
Where Sunday brunch was always awesome
Weekend outings were epic
And Christmas was always memorable
Yes I once had that

I once had a home
I want you to have now
To feel safe and to feel loved
To know that no matter what
You will always have that home
That home I once had
