Darling, you are my missing ampersand.
Our togetherness is hand-in-hand
& when we travel places far & wide
Those long distances too are side-by-side.

Even on some remote, outstretched beach,
There in your heart keep me just within reach.

You & me, we, are always parallel
We are: near & far, at infinity…
There is no geometry to dispel
This improbability – you & me.
