PNG fanatics are mounting for Origin
Their agenda is focussed on Origin
Their emotions, desires, confidence
Resources, time and effort, all

Bragging about Blues or Maroons
To the climax of the day’s celebration
Face painting Blues or Maroons
Flag raising Blues or Maroons

Decorating cars Blues or Maroons
Writing on wall Blues or Maroons
Tipping a favourite Blues or Maroons
Betting a winner Blues or Maroons

Burning unbudgeted money
On Origin games
Getting drunk
Commenting on the game

Like a commentator never in front of a microphone
Once a try is scored by either Blues or Maroons
Screaming, cheering up like a loudspeaker
Most times sarcastic and nasty

Irritating the fans; exchange of fists
Couples develop hatred
Murder or divorce
Public violence is the State of Origin

Australian fans are cool; PNG fans are hot
At the State of Origin, Blues and Maroons
Only one team wins per game
None of the fans wins as a player
