Talk and blame
30 September 2018
In our country, we always talk and blame
We talk, talk but our actions are just lame
We chew our betel nut,
and spit on concrete path,
we'll still blame the government just the same
In our country, we always talk and blame
We talk, talk but our actions are just lame
We have malaria
or contract diarrhoea
we'll still blame the government just the same
In our country, we always talk and blame
We talk, talk but our actions are just lame
We want free education
and forget contraception
we'll still blame the government just the same
In our country, we always talk and blame
We talk, talk but our actions are just lame
We cannot hold down a job
because we work like a slob
we'll still blame the government just the same
In our country, we always talk and blame
We talk, talk but our actions are just lame
We live in urban squalor
but have money for liquor
we'll still blame the government just the same
In our country, we always talk and blame
We talk, talk but our actions are just lame
We don't want dirty fingers
so we rob our villagers
we'll still blame the government just the same
In our country too,
we do nothing but accrue,
a sense of shame,
'cos we are the same,
blaming government
when it's just me an' you.
